Based on a comparison of 13 banks in Slovakia in 2017, Postova Banka operated with the lowest loan to deposit ratio, followed by CSOB Stavebna Sporitelna and Privatbanka.

Postova Banka's loan to deposit ratio reached 60.5% at the end of 2017, up from 56.0% when compared to the previous year. Historically, the bank’s loans to deposits hit an all time high of 64.2% in 2014 and an all time low of 33.6% in 2004.

Comparing Postova Banka with its closest peers, CSOB Stavebna Sporitelna ended the year 2017 with loans to deposits at 72.7%, Privatbanka with 73.8% and Prva Stavebna Sporitelna some 79.2% of loans to deposits at the end of 2017.

Overall, total loans of the Slovak banking sector amounted to 74.0% of deposits at the end of 2017.
