Based on a comparison of 13 banks in Slovakia in 2016, Slovenska Sporitelna had the most employees, followed by VUB Banka and Tatra banka.

Slovenska Sporitelna employed 4,232 persons in 2016, up 0.642% when compared to the previous year. Historically, the bank's workforce hit an all time high of 6,818 persons in 1999 and an all time low of 4,008 in 2010.

Average cost reached CZK 2,705 per month per month per employee, 5.97% more than a year ago. This figure was CZK 1,493 per month some 10 years ago.
