Based on a comparison of 33 countries in 2016, Russia ranked the highest in sour cherry production with 230,443 tonnes followed by Poland and Turkey. On the other end of the scale was Slovakia with 29.0 tonnes, Bolivia with 68.0 tonnes and Chile with 175 tonnes.
