Historically, workers' remittances paid in Italy reached an all time high of USD 14,510 mil in 2011 and an all time low of USD 106 mil in 1970. When compared to Italy's main peers, workers' remittances paid in Austria amounted to USD 6,204 mil, USD 14,778 mil in France, USD 291 mil in Slovenia and USD 29,400 mil in Switzerland in 2020.
