Piraeus Bank Group's capital adequacy ratio reached 17.5% at the end of 2015, up from 12.5% compared to the previous year. Historically, the bank’s capital ratio hit an all time high of 17.5% in 2015 and an all time low of -5.00% in 2011.

The Tier 1 ratio amounted to 17.5% at the end of 2015, up from 12.4% compared to a year earlier.

Bank's loan to deposit ratio reached 130% at the end of 2015, up from 104% when compared to the previous year.

Comparing Piraeus Bank Group with its closest peers, National Bank of Greece ended the year 2015 with a capital adequacy ratio at 14.6% and loans to deposits of 106%, Alpha Bank Group with 16.8% and 147% respectively and Eurobank Group some 17.4% in terms of capital adequacy and 127% of loans to deposits at the end of 2015.

Piraeus Bank Group's capital adequacy ratio reached 15.1% at the end of second quarter of 2014, up from 13.0% when compared to the previous quarter. Historically, the bank’s capital ratio hit an all time high of 15.1% in 2Q2014 and an all time low of -5.30% in 1Q2012.

The Tier 1 ratio amounted to 15.0% at the end of second quarter of 2014, up from 13.8% compared to the same period of last year and up from 12.8% when compared to the the previous quarter.

Bank's loan to deposit ratio reached 108% at the end of 2Q2014, down from 116% when compared to the same period of last year.

When compared to bank's main peers, National Bank of Greece ended the second quarter of 2014 with a capital adequacy ratio at 16.2% and loans to deposits of 103%, Alpha Bank Group with 16.6% and 122% respectively and Eurobank Group some 18.2% in terms of capital adequacy and 103% of loans to deposits at the end of the second quarter of 2014.

Historically, the bank’s loans reached an all time high of EUR 76,114 mil in 4Q2013 and an all time low of EUR 35,947 mil in 2Q2012.

At the end of fourth quarter of 2015, Piraeus Bank Group's loans accounted for 130% of total deposits and 57.8% of total assets.

Mortgage loans represented 24.6% of the bank's loan book at the end of the year 4Q2015, consumer further 10.00% and corporate loans 63.9% of total loans.

Historically, the bank’s revenues containing of interest, fee and other non-interest income reached an all time high of EUR 5,945 mil in 2013 and an all time low of EUR 575 mil in 2003. The average revenue in the last five years amounted to EUR 2,867 mil.

Net interest income represented 78.4% of total revenues, fee income contributed 12.8% and other non-interest income added further 8.78% to the overall revenue generation in 2015.

Bank's total revenues accounted for 2.73% total assets in 2015, down from 2.87% a year earlier.

Comparing Piraeus Bank Group with its closest peers, National Bank of Greece generated total revenues of 1.88% of assets in 2015, Alpha Bank Group operated with 3.34% revenue margin and Eurobank Group produced total income worth 2.40% of assets.
