Chicken meat production reached 567 kt in 2014 in Taiwan, according to Faostat. This is 2.14 % more than in the previous year.
Historically, chicken meat production in Taiwan reached an all time high of 635 kt in 1997 and an all time low of 20.6 kt in 1961. When compared to Taiwan's main peers, chicken meat production in China amounted to 12,257 kt, 27.4 kt in Hong Kong and 1,115 kt in Philippines in 2014.
