Duck meat production reached 135 tonnes in 2016 in Belgium, according to Faostat. This is 1.5 % more than in the previous year.
Historically, duck meat production in Belgium reached an all time high of 141 tonnes in 2013 and an all time low of 15.0 tonnes in 2000. When compared to Belgium's main peers, duck meat production in France amounted to 238,900 tonnes, 45,800 tonnes in Germany and 17,071 tonnes in Netherlands in 2016.
