Duck meat production reached 238,900 tonnes in 2016 in France, according to Faostat. This is 16.7 % less than in the previous year.
Historically, duck meat production in France reached an all time high of 290,902 tonnes in 2011 and an all time low of 30,000 tonnes in 1961. When compared to France's main peers, duck meat production in Belgium amounted to 135 tonnes and 45,800 tonnes in Germany in 2016.
