Duck meat production reached 150,426 tonnes in 2016 in Malaysia, according to Faostat. This is 2.33 % more than in the previous year.
Historically, duck meat production in Malaysia reached an all time high of 160,390 tonnes in 2013 and an all time low of 7,400 tonnes in 1961. When compared to Malaysia's main peers, duck meat production in Cambodia amounted to 9,451 tonnes, 4,633 tonnes in Singapore, 61,273 tonnes in Thailand and 127,280 tonnes in Vietnam in 2016.
