Historically, egg consumption per capita in Armenia reached an all time high of 12.4 kg in 2010 and an all time low of 2.52 kg in 1993. When compared to Armenia's main peers, egg consumption per capita in Azerbaijan amounted to 8.21 kg, 6.12 kg in Georgia, 7.70 kg in Iran and 8.20 kg in Turkey in 2013.
