Historically, foreign debt in Malaysia reached an all time high of 196,587 USD bil in 2014 and an all time low of 0.701 USD bil in 1971. When compared to Malaysia's main peers, foreign debt in Cambodia amounted to 9,698 USD bil, 129,654 USD bil in Thailand and 77,806 USD bil in Vietnam in 2015.
