Foreign debt reached USD 5,029 bil in 2021 in Syria, according to the National Statistical Office. This is 5.57% more than in the previous year.
Historically, foreign debt in Syria reached an all time high of USD 23,313 bil in 1998 and an all time low of USD 0.279 bil in 1970.
