Interest payments on government debt reached BIF 30.0 bil in 2013 in Burundi, according to the National Statistical Office. This is 10.2% less than in the previous year.
Historically, interest payments on government debt in Burundi reached an all time high of BIF 33.5 bil in 2012 and an all time low of BIF 0.388 bil in 1981.
