Interest payments on government debt reached XAF 198 bil in 2020 in Cameroon, according to the National Statistical Office. This is 14.7% less than in the previous year.
Historically, interest payments on government debt in Cameroon reached an all time high of XAF 232 bil in 2019 and an all time low of XAF 38.1 bil in 1990.
