Interest payments on government debt reached DKK 11.6 bil in 2020 in Denmark, according to the National Statistical Office. This is 25.8% less than in the previous year.
Historically, interest payments on government debt in Denmark reached an all time high of DKK 58.6 bil in 1996 and an all time low of DKK 0.670 bil in 1972.
