Interest payments on government debt reached EUR 29.1 bil in 2020 in France, according to the National Statistical Office. This is 15.4% less than in the previous year.
Historically, interest payments on government debt in France reached an all time high of EUR 53.2 bil in 2011 and an all time low of EUR 0.656 bil in 1973.
