Interest Payments on Government Debt (Local Currency) in Myanmar

Interest payments on government debt reached MMK 1,588 bil in 2019 in Myanmar, according to the National Statistical Office. This is 114% more than in the previous year.

Historically, interest payments on government debt in Myanmar reached an all time high of MMK 1,588 bil in 2019 and an all time low of MMK 683 bil in 2012.
