Based on a comparison of 156 countries in 2021, Puerto Rico ranked the highest in added value in manufacturing as a share of GDP with 48.1% followed by Ireland and China. On the other end of the scale was East Timor with 0.754%, Macao with 0.851% and Cayman Islands with 0.909%.
