New businesses registered in terms of a number of limited companies reached 3,396 firms in 2020 in Malta, according to the National Statistical Office. This is 18.6% less than in the previous year.
Historically, new businesses registered in terms of a number of limited companies in Malta reached an all time high of 5,527 firms in 2018 and an all time low of 2,407 firms in 2005.
