Non-Performing Loans (Local Currency) in Bangladesh

Non-performing loans reached BDT 887 bil in 2020 in Bangladesh, according to the National Central Bank. This is 5.93% less than in the previous year.

Historically, non-performing loans in Bangladesh reached an all time high of BDT 943 bil in 2019 and an all time low of BDT 73.7 bil in 2011.

Bangladesh has been ranked 13th within the group of 70 countries we follow in terms of non-performing loans.
