Historically, production of skimmed cows' milk in Austria reached an all time high of 1,155 kt in 1963 and an all time low of 944 kt in 2005. When compared to Austria's main peers, production of skimmed cows' milk in Germany amounted to 13,100 kt, 200 kt in Hungary, 2,847 kt in Italy and 791 kt in Switzerland in 2014.
