Tax revenue reached 3.60 ZWD bil in 2017 in Zimbabwe, according to the National Statistical Office. This is 11.3 % more than in the previous year.
Historically, tax revenue in Zimbabwe reached an all time high of 3.80 ZWD bil in 1989 and an all time low of 0.418 ZWD bil in 1976. When compared to Zimbabwe's main peers, tax revenue in Botswana amounted to 39.9 BWP bil, 186 MZN bil in Mozambique, 1,255 ZAR bil in South Africa and 37.4 ZMW bil in Zambia in 2017.

Tax revenue refers to compulsory transfers to the central government for public purposes.
