Turkey meat production reached 393,287 tonnes in 2016 in France, according to Faostat. This is 11.5 % more than in the previous year.
Historically, turkey meat production in France reached an all time high of 763,544 tonnes in 2000 and an all time low of 41,700 tonnes in 1961. When compared to France's main peers, turkey meat production in Belgium amounted to 7,584 tonnes, 487,100 tonnes in Germany, 331,859 tonnes in Italy and 192,629 tonnes in Spain in 2016.
