Historically, workers' remittances paid in Myanmar reached an all time high of 566 USD mil in 2014 and an all time low of 0.016 USD mil in 1992. When compared to Myanmar's main peers, workers' remittances paid in China amounted to 16,178 USD mil, 6,959 USD mil in India, 103 USD mil in Laos and 4,397 USD mil in Thailand in 2017.
