Workers' remittances paid reached 272 USD mil in 2015 in Senegal, according to the National Statistical Office. This is 29.9 % less than in the previous year.

Historically, workers' remittances paid in Senegal reached an all time high of 592 USD mil in 2018 and an all time low of 24.0 USD mil in 1977. When compared to Senegal's main peers, workers' remittances paid in Gambia amounted to 20.3 USD mil, 25.7 USD mil in Guinea, 133 USD mil in Mali and 172 USD mil in Mauritania in 2015.

Senegal has been ranked 86th within the group of 160 countries we follow in terms of workers' remittances paid, 14 places behind the position seen 10 years ago.
