Historically, the bank’s net profit reached an all time high of EUR 83.2 mil in 2016 and an all time low of EUR -8.46 mil in 2009. The average profit in the last five years amounted to EUR 71.4 mil.
The bank generated its shareholders an average return on equity of 10.3% in the last five years with maximum at 11.8% and minimum at 9.22%
When compared to bank's main peers, VUB Banka generated a net profit of EUR 175 mil with ROE of 11.2% in 2017, Slovenska Sporitelna netted EUR 164 mil (ROE of 12.0%) and Tatra banka announced a net profit of EUR 124 mil implying ROE of 12.5%.
