Expenditure of international tourism fell 64.4% to USD 1,500 mil in Greece in 2020, according to Eurostat.

Historically, expenditure of international tourism in Greece reached an all time high of USD 4,564 mil in 2000 and an all time low of USD 1,396 mil in 1996. When compared to Greece's main peers, expenditure of international tourism in Albania amounted to USD 805 mil, USD 1,263 mil in Bulgaria, USD 153 mil in Macedonia and USD 1,639 mil in Turkey in 2020.
