UniCredit Bulbank's capital adequacy ratio reached 19.2% at the end of 2014, up from 18.1% when compared to the previous year. Historically, the bank’s capital ratio hit an all time high of 71.5% in 2000 and an all time low of 12.9% in 2007.
The Tier 1 ratio amounted to 19.2% at the end of 2014, up from 18.1% compared to a year earlier.
Bank's loan to deposit ratio reached 104% at the end of 2014, down from 112% when compared to the previous year. Some 10 years ago, loan to deposit ratio of the bank amounted to 45.4%.
When compared to bank's main peers, DSK Bank ended the year 2014 with a capital adequacy ratio at 18.1% and loans to deposits of 77.8%, United Bulgarian Bank with 27.4% and 81.2% respectively and Raiffeisenbank Bulgaria some 36.7% in terms of capital adequacy and 85.4% of loans to deposits at the end of 2014.
