Zagrebacka Banka's non-performing loans reached 16.2% of total loans at the end of 2015, down from 17.2% when compared to the previous year. Historically, the NPL ratio hit an all time high of 17.2% in 2014 and an all time low of 4.03% in 2007.

Provision coverage amounted to 62.8% at the end of 2015, up from 57.4% compared to a year earlier.

The bank created loan loss provisions worth of 3.29% of average loans in 2015. That's compared to 1.88% of loans the bank put aside to its cost on average in the last five years.

When compared to bank's main peers, Raiffeisenbank Croatia operated at the end of 2015 with NPL ratio of 17.3% and provision coverage of 72.7%, Splitska Banka with 11.2% and 83.1% respectively and Privredna Banka Zagreb had 11.9% of bad loans covered with 70.5% by provisions at the end of 2015.
