Bank assets as a share of GDP fell 24.3% to 37.5% in Azerbaijan in 2017, according to the National Central Bank.

Historically, bank assets as a share of GDP in Azerbaijan reached an all time high of 64.2% in 2015 and an all time low of 11.8% in 1995.

Azerbaijan has been ranked 112th within the group of 129 countries we follow in terms of bank assets as a share of GDP, 10 places above the position seen 10 years ago.
