Lignite coal production rose 14.4% to 9,084 kt in Kosovo in 2015, according to the National Statistical Office.
Historically, lignite coal production in Kosovo reached an all time high of 9,572 kt in 2012 and an all time low of 7,941 kt in 2014.
Kosovo has been ranked 18th within the group of 35 countries we follow in terms of lignite coal production, 18 places below the position seen 10 years ago.
