Historically, poultry meat production in Bhutan reached an all time high of 1.87 kt in 2021 and an all time low of 0.051 kt in 1961. When compared to Bhutan's main peers, poultry meat production in Bangladesh amounted to 284 kt, 23,400 kt in China, 4,951 kt in India and 206 kt in Nepal in 2022.
