Historically, poultry meat production in India reached an all time high of 4,951 kt in 2022 and an all time low of 77.8 kt in 1961. When compared to India's main peers, poultry meat production in Bangladesh amounted to 284 kt, 23,400 kt in China, 1,982 kt in Pakistan and 228 kt in Sri Lanka in 2022.
