Bank Intesa Serbia assets reached 564,860, up 2.44% when compared to the last year. Historically, the bank’s assets reached an all time high of 564,860 in 2017 and an all time low of 28,914 in 2002.

Comparing Bank Intesa Serbia with its closest peers, UniCredit Bank Serbia assets amounted to 370,780, Komercijalna Banka Beograd operated with 369,184 assets and Societe Generale Serbia had total assets of 294,755.

Total assets of the Serbian banking sector amounted to RSD 3,599 bil in 2017, up 0.145% when compared to the last year. Addiko Bank Serbia employed 595 persons in 2017, down 6.89% when compared to the previous year. Historically, the bank's workforce hit an all time high of 872 persons in 2011 and an all time low of 595 in 2017.

Average cost reached 204,230 per employee, 2.52% more than a year ago. This figure was 104,412 some 10 years ago.

Staff accounted for 32.3% of total operating expenditures in 2017.

AIK Banka made a net profit of 12,080, up 178% compared to the previous year. Historically, the bank’s net profit reached an all time high of 12,080 in 2017 and an all time low of 1,017 in 2003. The average profit in the last five years amounted to 4,697.

The bank generated an average return on equity of 8.58% for its shareholders in the last five years with a maximum of 21.2% and a minimum of 2.47%.

Comparing AIK Banka with its closest peers, Bank Intesa Serbia generated a net profit of 11,848 with a ROE of 9.75% in 2017, Komercijalna Banka Beograd netted 8,268 (ROE of 13.9%) and UniCredit Bank Serbia announced a net profit of 6,782 giving a ROE of 10.0%.

The net profit of the Serbia’s banking sector amounted to 63,572 in 2017, up 246% compared to the previous year. Heading up the rankings, AIK Banka accounted for 19.0% of the sector’s net profit in 2017. The top 3 companies held a 50.6% share while the five largest firms some 71.7% in 2017.

Bank Intesa Serbia employed 3,032 persons in 2016, up 0.731% when compared to the previous year. Historically, the bank's workforce hit an all time high of 3,200 persons in 2011 and an all time low of 2,028 in 2003.

Average cost reached RSD 157,725 per month per month per employee, 4.26% more than a year ago. This figure was RSD 61,030 per month some 10 years ago.

Comparing Bank Intesa Serbia with its closest peers, Komercijalna Banka Beograd had 2,858 employees with average cost of RSD 147,524 per month per person, Banka Postanska Stedionica operated with 1,724 people (and RSD 105,063 per month per employee) and Raiffeisenbank Serbia had 1,458 employees in 2016 with cost RSD 1,458 per month per head.
