PKO BP made a net profit of PLN 2,874 mil, up 10.1% when compared to the last year. Historically, the bank’s net profit reached an all time high of PLN 3,807 mil in 2011 and an all time low of PLN 887 mil in 2001. The average profit in the last five years amounted to PLN 3,139 mil.

The bank generated its shareholders an average return on equity of 11.9% in the last five years with maximum at 15.8% and minimum at 9.02%.

When compared to the nearest peers, Pekao SA generated a net profit of PLN 2,279 mil with ROE of 9.84% in 2016, Bank Zachodni WBK netted PLN 2,167 mil (ROE of 10.4%) and ING Bank Slaski announced a net profit of PLN 1,253 mil implying ROE of 11.8%.

Net profit of the Poland’s banking sector amounted to PLN 73,525 mil in 2016, up 10.8% when compared to the last year. As a result, the top ranked company - PKO BP accounted for 3.91% of the sector’s net profit in 2016. The top 3 companies held a 9.96% share while the five largest firms some 13.3% in 2016.

Net profit of the Poland’s banking sector amounted to PLN 75,867 mil in 2017, up 3.19% when compared to the last year. DNB Bank Polska's customer loan growth reached -6.76% in 2017, down from 1.75% when compared to the previous year. Historically, the bank’s loans growth reached an all time high of 159% in 2007 and an all time low of -18.8% in 2013. In the last decade, the average annual loan growth amounted to 6.95%.

On the other hand, bank's customer deposit growth amounted to 20.3% at the end of 2017, down from 26.3% when compared to the previous year. Historically, the bank’s deposit growth reached an all time high of 390% in 2004 and an all time low of -29.8% in 2013. In the last decade, the average annual loan growth amounted to 4.98%.

At the end of 2017, DNB Bank Polska's loans accounted for 155% of total deposits and 69.4% of total assets.

DNB Bank Polska generated total banking revenues of PLN 233 mil in 2017, down 1.52% when compared to the previous year.

Historically, the bank’s revenues containing of interest, fee and other non-interest income reached an all time high of PLN 410 mil in 2011 and an all time low of PLN 16.1 mil in 2003. The average revenue in the last five years amounted to PLN 235 mil.

Net interest income represented 80.9% of total revenues, fee income contributed 7.45% and other non-interest income added further 11.6% to the overall revenue generation in 2017.

Bank's total revenues accounted for 2.14% total assets in 2017, down from 2.26% a year earlier.

When compared to bank's main peers, Eurobank Poland generated total revenues of 5.20% of assets in 2017, Alior Bank operated with 5.34% revenue margin and ING Bank Slaski produced total income worth 3.77% of assets.
