Odea Bank's non-performing loans reached 17.6 of total loans at the end of 2017, up from 9.07 when compared to the previous year. Historically, the NPL ratio hit an all time high of 17.6 in 2017 and an all time low of 0.875 in 2013.

Provision coverage amounted to 11.4 at the end of 2017, up from 6.46 compared to a year earlier.

Comparing Odea Bank with its closest peers, Turkland Bank operated at the end of 2017 with NPL ratio of 11.4 and provision coverage of 43.3, HSBC Bank Turkey with 5.46 and 68.0 and QNB Finansbank had 5.02 of bad loans covered with 81.5 by provisions at the end of 2017.

Citibank Turkey's loan to deposit ratio reached 66.4 at the end of 2017, up from 63.6 when compared to the previous year. Historically, the bank’s loans to deposits hit an all time high of 72.8 in 2003 and an all time low of 32.9 in 2006.

Isbank employed 24,836 persons in 2017, down 0.656% when compared to the previous year. Historically, the bank's workforce hit an all time high of 25,157 persons in 2015 and an all time low of 14,873 in 2002.

Average cost reached 14,863 per employee, 6.62% more than a year ago. This figure was 4,657 some 10 years ago.

Staff accounted for 34.7% of total operating expenditures in 2017.

Comparing Isbank with its closest peers, Turkland Bank had 523 employees with average cost of 14,775 per person, Garanti Bank operated with 18,851 people (and 14,172 per employee) and Odea Bank had 1,800 employees in 2017 with cost of 13,771 per head.
