Sales of passenger cars rose 3.71% yoy to 7.81 thousand in Slovakia in October 2023, according to ACEA. This is 13.8% more than in the previous month.

Historically, sales of passenger cars in Slovakia reached an all time high of 10.6 thousand in August 2018 and an all time low of 2.91 thousand in January 2009. When compared to Slovakia's main peers, sales of passenger cars in Austria amounted to 18.9 thousand, 19.3 thousand in Czechia, 8.43 thousand in Hungary and 40.9 thousand in Poland in October 2023.
