Türkiye Halk Bankasi (or Halkbank) is a Turkey-based commercial bank. The Bank is the seventh-largest bank in Turkey in terms of assets. The Bank offers retail and commercial banking products and services, such as credit and debit cards, private and commercial loans, savings and checking accounts and money transfers, issuing letters of guarantee, foreign currency and non-cash loans and commercial loan deposit accounts, as well as portfolio management, mutual and pension fund management, international trade finance and securities brokerage. At the end of 2015, Halkbank operated 949 branches and over 3,300 ATMs and employed more than 17,000 people. The Bank was founded in 1933 and is headquartered in Istanbul, Turkey.
