Erste Group Bank assets reached 220,659, up 5.97% when compared to the last year. Historically, the bank’s assets reached an all time high of 220,659 in 2017 and an all time low of 52,443 in 1999.

Comparing Erste Group Bank with its closest peers, Erste Bank Austria assets amounted to 143,757, Raiffeisen Bank International operated with 135,146 assets and Bank Austria Group had total assets of 102,128.

Raiffeisen Bank International's non-performing loans reached 5.68 of total loans at the end of 2017, down from 8.66 when compared to the previous year. Historically, the NPL ratio hit an all time high of 11.9 in 2015 and an all time low of 1.71 in 2005.

Provision coverage amounted to 5.08 at the end of 2017, down from 6.43 compared to a year earlier.

Comparing Raiffeisen Bank International with its closest peers, Raiffeisenlandesbank Steiermark operated at the end of 2017 with NPL ratio of 5.08 and provision coverage of 72.0, Steiermarkische Sparkasse with 4.29 and 59.2 and Bank Austria Group had 4.25 of bad loans covered with 68.9 by provisions at the end of 2017.

BAWAG Group's cost to income ratio reached 46.5 in 2017, up from 44.8 when compared to the last year. Historically, the bank’s costs reached an all time high of 49.7 in 2014 and an all time low of 44.5 in 2015.

When compared to total assets, bank's cost amounted to 1.39% in 2017, up from 1.16 a year earlier.
