Zagrebacka Banka's non-performing loans reached 11.4% of total loans at the end of 2017, down from 14.9% when compared to the previous year. Historically, the NPL ratio hit an all time high of 17.2% in 2014 and an all time low of 4.03% in 2007.

Provision coverage amounted to 11.2% at the end of 2017, down from 13.7% compared to a year earlier.

Comparing Zagrebacka Banka with its closest peers, DSK Bank operated at the end of 2017 with NPL ratio of 11.2% and provision coverage of 92.3%, Banca Commerciala Romana with 9.38% and 80.3% and OTP Group had 9.20% of bad loans covered with 99.3% by provisions at the end of 2017.

Erste & Steiermarkische Bank's non-performing loans reached 12.6% of total loans at the end of 2017, up from 11.5% when compared to the previous year. Historically, the NPL ratio hit an all time high of 18.6% in 2014 and an all time low of 3.92% in 2007.

Provision coverage amounted to 9.38% at the end of 2017, down from 12.8% compared to a year earlier.

Comparing Erste & Steiermarkische Bank with its closest peers, Banca Commerciala Romana operated at the end of 2017 with NPL ratio of 9.38% and provision coverage of 80.3%, Erste Bank Hungary with 5.48% and 90.0% and Steiermarkische Sparkasse had 4.29% of bad loans covered with 59.2% by provisions at the end of 2017.

Erste Group Bank reported total revenues of EUR 6,669 mil, down 0.581% compared to the previous year. Historically, the bank’s revenues containing of interest, fee and other non-interest income reached an all time high of EUR 7,604 mil in 2010 and an all time low of EUR 1,172 mil in 1999. The average revenue in the last five years amounted to EUR 6,828 mil.

Bank's total revenues accounted for 3.02% of total assets in 2017, down from 3.22% a year earlier.
