Slovenska Sporitelna assets reached 16,343, up 10.2% when compared to the last year. Historically, the bank’s assets reached an all time high of 16,343 in 2017 and an all time low of 3,591 in 1998.

Comparing Slovenska Sporitelna with its closest peers, VUB Banka assets amounted to 14,971, Tatra banka operated with 12,503 assets and CSOB Slovakia had total assets of 9,221.

Slovenska Sporitelna's mortgage loans reached EUR 6,001 mil, up from EUR 5,650 mil when compared to the last year. Historically, the bank’s mortgage loans reached an all time high of EUR 6,001 mil in 2016 and an all time low of EUR 25.0 mil in 2001.

At the end of 2016, mortgage loans represented 58.5% of Slovenska Sporitelna's loan book.

When compared to the nearest peers, VUB Banka's mortgage loans amounted to EUR 4,447 mil at the end of 2016, Tatra banka operated with EUR 2,935 mil mortgage loans and CSOB Slovakia had a mortgage loan book of EUR 2,681 mil at the end of 2016.

VUB Banka loans reached 10,725, up 17.5% compared to the previous year. Historically, the bank’s loans reached an all time high of 10,725 in 2016 and an all time low of 676 in 2000.

Comparing VUB Banka with its closest peers, Slovenska Sporitelna customer loans amounted to 10,251, Tatra banka operated with 8,351 loans and CSOB Slovakia had a loan portfolio of 6,097.

Slovak banking sector provided total customer loans of CZK 2,950 bil in 2016, up 6.04% when compared to the last year. Slovenska Sporitelna operated a network of 271 branches at the end of 2017. That's compared to 273 branches some 10 years ago.

Comparing Slovenska Sporitelna with its closest peers, VUB Banka operated a network of 236 branches in 2017, Tatra banka had 187 branches and CSOB Slovakia had a network of 133 branches in 2017.

Slovak banks operated a network of 1,945 branches in 2017. Total of 41,880 people worked for the banks in 2017.
